Ingredients
- 1 cup Poha (Flattened rice) - you can use thin as well
- 1/2 cup Jaggery - grated
- 1/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
- Water - for soaking poha
Instructions
- To begin making Avalakki Bella Usuli recipe, wash poha thoroughly with water and drain the excess water
- Soak poha in a cup of warm water for about 5 minutes
- Drain the water and set asideIn a mixing bowl, add soaked poha
- Combine grated jaggery, grated coconut and cardamom powder
- Mix them well such that they are combined together
- Serve Avalakki Usuli with some grated jaggery on the top
- Serve Avalakki Bella Usuli during your fasting days as a snack or as a whole meal
