Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
- 1 tablespoon Whole Black Peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons Black Salt (Kala Namak)
- 3 tablespoons Amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
- To begin making the Chaat Masala Recipe, heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds and black peppercorns
- Roast for on medium-low heat until fragrant
- This will take about 8-10 minutes
- Turn off the flame and allow it to come to room temperature
- Transfer to a mixer jar, add the black salt, dry mango powder, asafoetida and salt to taste
