Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoons Black Salt (Kala Namak)
  • 3 tablespoons Amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. To begin making the Chaat Masala Recipe, heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds and black peppercorns
  2. Roast for on medium-low heat until fragrant
  3. This will take about 8-10 minutes
  4. Turn off the flame and allow it to come to room temperature
  5. Transfer to a mixer jar, add the black salt, dry mango powder, asafoetida and salt to taste
  6. Grind to a fine powder
