Ingredients
- 200 ग्राम हरा बीन्स - काट ले
- 200 ग्राम गाजर - काट ले
- 1 छोटा चमच्च राइ
- 1 छोटा चमच्च सफ़ेद उरद दाल
- 1/4 छोटा चमच्च हींग
- 1/4 छोटा चमच्च हल्दी पाउडर
- 5 कढ़ी पत्ता
- 1 बड़ा चमच्च तेल
- नमक - स्वाद अनुसार
- 1 बड़ा चमच्च नारियल - थोड़ा
Instructions
- To make carrot beans porridge, first cut the carrots and beans and steam them in a steamer
- Once the vegetable is soft, take it out in a bowl and keep it aside
- Now heat oil in a pan
- Add the mustard seeds and after 15 seconds add the urad dal and let it cook till the dal turns light brown
- Now add curry leaves, asafoetida and cook it for 15 seconds
- Add the steamed carrots and beans to the dale
- Add salt and cook on high flame for 30 to 40 seconds
- Turn off the gas and garnish with coconut, coriander
- Serve the Carrot Beans Poriyal with Keerai Sambar and Rice for dinner
