Carrot and Beans Poriyal (Recipe In Hindi)_1

Ingredients

  • 200 ग्राम हरा बीन्स - काट ले
  • 200 ग्राम गाजर - काट ले

  • 1/4 छोटा चमच्च हींग
  • 1/4 छोटा चमच्च हल्दी पाउडर
  • 5 कढ़ी पत्ता
  • 1 बड़ा चमच्च तेल
  • नमक - स्वाद अनुसार
  • 1 बड़ा चमच्च नारियल - गार्निश के लिए

Instructions

  1. To make the carrot and beans porridge, first of all steam the carrots and beans
  2. After steaming the vegetables, take it out in a bowl and keep it aside
  3. Now heat oil in a pan
  4. Add mustard seeds and cook for 15 seconds
  5. Now add urad dal and cook till it turns brown
  6. Now heat oil in a pan

  8. Then add urad dal and cook till it turns light brown
  9. After browning, add curry leaves, asafoetida and cook for a few seconds
  10. Now add carrots and beans to it
  11. Add salt, mix and let it cook for 1 minute
  12. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot
  13. Serve the porridge of carrots and beans with rice and kirai sambar for dinner
