Eggless Christmas Tree Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sunflower Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1-1/2 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • Decorative sugar (Cake/ Candy Sprinkles) - (preferably

Instructions

  1. To prepare Eggless Christmas Tree Chocolate Cookies Recipe, get prep with all the ingredients required and sift all purpose flour and cocoa powder in a bowl
  2. Keep aside
  3. Take butter (at room temperature) and sugar in a large bowl
  4. Whisk until light and fluffy using hand/electric whisk
  5. Next, add baking powder, oil, water and vanilla essence
  6. Whisk again until everything incorporates well
  7. Now, add dry ingredients to the fluffy mixture and mix well to get a sticky dough
  8. Wrap the dough with a cling film and freeze for 10-15 minutes

  22. Remove from oven, place all the cookies on a wire rack to cool down completely
  23. Meanwhile, start to make the frosting
  24. Take butter (at room temperature) in a bowl and whisk until pale and yellow using hand / electric blender
  25. Add caster sugar (1 cup), whisk until light and fluffy
  26. Next, add water and vanilla essence
  27. Whisk for 2-3 minutes
  28. Now, add the rest of caster sugar and whisk again until everything incorporates well
  29. The frosting is ready now
  30. To assemble the Christmas tree, take a large serving plate
  31. Place all the big cookies on the plate leaving 1/2 inch space in between
  32. Take a piping bag fitted with a medium star nozzle
  33. Fill it with frosting
  34. Pipe a swirl of frosting on top of the big cookies
  35. Then place the medium cookies over the frosting of big cookies and pipe a swirl of frosting on top of the medium cookies
  36. Then place the small cookies over the frosting of medium cookies and pipe a swirl of frosting on top of the small cookies
  37. Decorate each layer of frosting with Christmas tree sprinkles
